Age limit for excise officer:-
19-31.
Candidates born between 02/01/1988 and
1.1.2000(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
Educational qualification for Excise officer :-
Must have passed the Plus Two examination or its equivalent.
i) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
ii) Candidates who have applied with equivalent qualification
instead of qualification mentioned in the notification, should produce the relevant Government order to prove their

Physical Qualification's
⚫️Must not be less than 165 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
⚫️Must qualify in the Endurance Test of completing 2.5 kilometers
race within 13 minutes
⚫️Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified(Please check below notification)

[In the case of candidate belonging to the Scheduled Caste

Each eye must have full field of vision, Colour blindness,
squint or any other morbid condition of the eyes or lids of
either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification
How to apply for excise officer
Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz., www.keralapsc.gov.in before
applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using User-ID and password. Candidates must click the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph
uploaded should be taken on or after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of
taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all the requirements shall valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of
photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link ‘Applications’ in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of their personal information and the secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application, candidates must ensure the correctness of the
information they have entered. They must quote the User-ID for further communication
with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected for noncompliance with the notification, if found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, Community, age etc have to be produced as and when called for.
